Compressed carbon is used in conjunction with refined iron to create refined steel dust in a Metallurgic Infuser
It is created by roasting coal in a furnace.
An alternative and more cost-effective method of creating compressed carbon is by placing coal in the top slot of the Enrichment Chamber.
