Mekanism adds 9 new types of armor ranging from leather to obsidian armor and a full set of armor costs 24 of the material needed
- Leather Armor - The worst armor in the game and from a creeper explosion you will take 9 hearts of damage
- Iron Armor - The eighth best armor in game and from a creeper you will take 6.5 Hearts of damage
- Lapis Lazuli Armor - The seventh best armor in game and from a creeper you will take 5 hearts of damage
- Glowstone Armor - Tied at fifth best tied with platinum armor and will take 4.5 hearts of damage from a creeper
- Platinum Armor- Tied at fifth with Glowstone Armor and will take 4.5 hearts of damage from a creeper
- Diamond Armor - The best armor in vanilla Minecraft but in Voltz it is the fourth best and you will take 3 hearts of damage from a creeper
- Steel Armor - The third best armor and you will take half a heart of damage from a creeper
- Bronze Armor - The second best armor in game and you won't take any damage from creepers while wearing it
- Obsidian Armor - The best armor in game and like Bronze armor you won't take any damage from creeper explosions while wearing it
