This article explains all the different units in the Universal Electricity mod/Voltz mod pack.


Potential Differences (Volt)

The potential difference of a wire is measured in Volts. Different machines will be require different voltages in order to operate. If you supply too much of a voltage, your machine may explode.

It is therefore vital to step down/step up your voltage correctly for your machines with Transformers.

Current (Ampere)

Current is measured in Amps.

Energy (Joule)

The amount of energy is measured in Joules. For example, the Battery is able to store
